Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt take their six children Christmas shopping in NYC

Buying Christmas presents for the family can be tough at the best of times, but try being the Jolie Pitt clan with six children to buy for and the world's eyes on your every move.

Fortunately, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie refused to let the strain (or the rain) get to them as they headed out, en mass, to toy emporium FAO Schwartz in New York City yesterday.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie shepherded Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox around the shops - no mean feat when one of your children has their head covered and can't see where they're going…!

Pax, aged eight, was giving the paparazzi the slip once again in his now-famous zip-up shark top (we want one too!).

With the help of a personal shopper, the Jolie-Pitts apparently decided to divide and conquer - with Angelina Jolie taking the girls to look at the doll display and Brad leading the boys to the gadgets area to look at model planes.
