Who knew the blonde actress had the ability to make the Vogue editor crack a smile?

Anna Wintour is known for many things: Her flawless fashion sense, her unwavering bob and her notoriously icy demeanor. One thing she is not known for is happily gabbing with her girlfriends.

So imagine our surprise when she nearly jumped for joy upon seeing a certain young starlet at the Michael Kors show on Wednesday.

The Vogue editor was positioned in her usual FROW spot with her signature sunglasses in place, stoically waiting for the show to start. But when Blake Lively arrived, she instantly warmed up.

'Anna Wintour got up, took off her glasses and chatted to Blake for ages,' said Marie Claire Fashion Features Director Victoria Moss, who witnessed their greeting first-hand. She added that Wintour's animated reaction was 'quite major.'

Seems the 26-year-old, bubbly blonde actress is BFFs with fashion's most intimidating presence.

But it wasn't just Anna Wintour who was pleased to have Blake around - Mrs. Reynolds seemed to bring smiles to the entire star-studded FROW. The Gossip Girl actress shared a laugh with Freida Pinto and Rose Byrne, as well as the designer himself.
