Adriana Lima welcomes new baby girl

The Victoria’s Secret model announced the birth of her daughter on Twitter yesterday

Adriana Lima has passed her gorgeous genes onto a new generation as she gave birth to a baby girl yesterday.

The new addition to her family was named Sienna and weighed a healthy 7lbs after being born at 1pm in New York.

Along with her Victoria’s Secret model mum and former NBA star dad, Marko Jaric, baby Sienna will have big sister, Valentina, two, to look after her.

Adriana shared the news on Twitter posting: ‘Marko and I are overjoyed to welcome Sienna into our family and Valentina is looking forward to becoming a big sister!’

The model's second pregnancy produced some unusual cravings for the star, including a desire to drink beer!

In May she told People magazine: ‘It’s very strange because I normally don’t like beer. Now I want some, but I cannot drink it.

‘I’ve been craving crispy duck. All of a sudden, I cannot get enough of it!’

After her first pregnancy the 31-year-old followed a protein-only regime for three weeks to lose her baby weight.

But if she needs any more tips on bouncing back to work after having a baby, we’re sure her fellow Victoria’s Secret model pal Miranda Kerr can offer some advice.
