At 91 years old, Queen Liz is giving the fashion pack a run for their money with her latest kicks. Even the royal monarch isn’t impervious to the ebb and flow of style trends and we’re guessing she picked up a thing or two when she popped into London Fashion Week, since her fancy footwork is bang on the money.
She stepped out the other day in a tangerine winter coat and matching hat (yass Queen, we’re here for the bold colour choice) as well as a pair of shoes you’ve definitely scrolled past a few times on Instagram: Gucci loafers. Nothing beats a classic and she seems to have opted for their signature heeled Leather Horsebit Loafers, a strong designer investment piece if we do say so ourselves.
She was visiting the Royal Academy of the Arts to view their newly renovated galleries and soaked in the cultural sights in her wedge heels. Though it isn’t the first time she’s stepped out in her on-trend shoes, as more often than not she’ll be sporting them at most fashionable occasions like her visit to the Royal College of Physicians or St Paul’s Church visit earlier this February.
With the royal wedding looming on the horizon, we’re hoping she busts out a pair of the brand’s millennial pink or pearl embellished wedges to shake things up a bit.
