Here's a look back at last year's winning Golden Globes outfits

The Golden Globes 2019 are happening this weekend, hosted by Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg (not gonna lie, pretty excited about that one).

While we wait patiently to find out who the stars will get political on the red carpet (remember last year, the Golden Globes set the tone for awards season when everyone wore black), we thought now was as good a time as any to look back at last year's best looks.

All our favourite Golden Globes 2018 red carpet moments

Several celebrities opted for pops of colour on the red carpet. Alison Williams wore a sequin embellished gown with a splash of orange, and Mandy Moore's red waisted gown mirrored her tomato red lips. Metallic accents were spotted on Samira Wiley, Jessica Chastain and Saoirse Ronan - special shout out to Margot Robbie's embellished Gucci gown.

As for trousers on the red carpet? Christina Hendricks and Debra Messing went for structured pieces while Claire Foy channelled Le Smoking vibes in a tailored tux.

With the slew of black dresses on show, celebrities went all out with their accessories, and our favourite had to be Zoe Kravitz's dazzling pair of emerald earrings, which neatly matched a fabulous ring.

Eva Longoria debuted her baby bump on the red carpet and showed us how to pull off pregnancy style with aplomb, in a plunging neckline gown. Not to be outdone, the gents were sharply dressed too with Ansel Elgort, Kitt Harrington, Matt Smith and the Franco brothers leading the pack.
