Love was certainly in the air at the Golden Globes 2016... but who made our cut of the coolest red carpet couples?
While our date nights might consist of watching a film on Netflix and eating a takeaway curry in our trackies, last night celebrities and their significant others came out in force for a date night to rival all others. Everyone from Eddie Redmayne and Hannah Bagshawe to Paul Dano and Zoe Kazan came out to celebrate the night and enjoy the beginning of awards season.
The all-star couple, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham announced their engagement on the red carpet with Rosie debuting a huge ring to go with her gold couture gown by Atelier Versace. Congrats guys!
While he may not have won the best actor award, Eddie Redmayne and his wife, Hannah won over our hearts with their cosy display on the red carpet. Hannah who is pregnant (and may we say, positively glowing) was chaperoned by her husband all evening. Is it okay to admit that we're a tiny bit jealous?
Channing Tatum and his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum also made waves on the red carpet. The couple, who recently competed against each other on the program, Lip Sync Battle, made a cute display on the red carpet. While we're big fans of these guys, we're not so sure about Channing's new hairstyle, which was very Bieber. But who knows, maybe it'll catch on?
Another cute couple alert should go out for Melissa McCarthy and her beau, Ben Falcone. You may recognise him from Bridesmaids where he plays the Jon, the Air Marshall opposite Melissa. He'll also be appearing in the upcoming The Boss with Melissa again.
Cate Blanchett pulled out all the stops for her date night with her screenwriter/director hubbie Andrew Upton by wearing a Givenchy gown. Her beauty look will also be serving as #inspo for our next date.
