H&M is teaming up with Erdem for its latest designer collaboration

Baz Luhrmann is even getting involved

We barely had time to process H&M’s surprise Studio collaboration with Colette, before the Swedish high-street store announced this year’s designer collaboration, and it’s fit for a royal.

And we mean that literally, as it’s with one of the Duchess of Cambridge’s favourite designers, London-based Erdem (Pippa Middleton, Nicole Kidman, Michelle Obama and Alexa Chung are also fans).

Erdem is known for his romantic designs and floral prints, and from what we can see in the teaser video, the high-street line will carry on with the theme.

The video (which is directed by Baz Luhrmann, no expenses spared) gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the men’s and women’s lines, and we can’t wait to get our hands on that floral maxi dress.

Redeem said, ‘I am so happy to collaborate with H&M, and to explore my work on a whole new scale including a menswear collection which I have never done before. It’s also such a thrill to work with Baz Luhrmann, one of the most important storytellers of our time.’

‘From the moment we started talking with Erdem about the collaboration, I was captured by his vision. For ERDEM x H&M he has created an enchanting world full of beauty, delicacy and rich details. These are special pieces you will want to wear forever,’ says H&M’s Creative Advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson.

ERDEM x H&M launches on 2nd November 2017, so be prepared to sharpen your elbows, because this one may go even faster than the previous collaborations, which sold out in hours in case you were wondering.
