After her flawless red-carpet appearance, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt went straight to Foreign Secretary William Hague's home for dinner

Angelina Jolie really never takes it easy, does she?

After catching up on her jam-packed day in London yesterday, we're still trying to decide what's more impressive: how ridiculously flawless she looked on the red carpet -- or the fact that she went straight from the Maleficent premiere to another VIP event.

With Brad Pitt by her side, the 38-year-old actress took a stunning turn down the red carpet Thursday afternoon. Rocking a custom-made Atelier Versace gown with a plunging neckline and luxe beading, Angelina looked effortlessly elegant. Her upswept hair and dramatic smokey eyes added an extra touch of glamour.

The actress easily posed for the cameras, chatted with reporters, cuddled up to her fiance and even snapped a selfie with an eager fan - all while looking pretty close to perfect.

But it wasn't just her general fabulousness that caught our attention. After a big film premiere, many stars would be whisked away to a glam after-party featuring velvet ropes and expensive champagne. But not Angie. Instead, she and Brad headed straight to the Mayfair home of Foreign Secretary William Hague for an intimate dinner. (Okay, we're guessing there was still expensive champagne -- but in a much more high-brow setting.)

The Hollywood power couple's choice in dinner companions shows that Angie's mind is never too far from the social causes that are near to her heart. She and Hague have worked together in their campaign to help women in war zones. They struck up a friendship after visiting the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2013, and they worked together again this past March when they travelled to Bosnia on an anti-rape mission.

We can only imagine the dinner conversation was filled with further plans to change the world.
