The Cambridges are about to become a family of five, with Kate and William’s third child due any day now.

It’s hard to believe that the original royal sweethearts’ wedding was a whole seven years ago now, having taken place on the 29th April 2011 at Westminster Abbey. Fans all over the world tuned in to watch the proceedings, including that kiss on the balcony.

Their second child Princess Charlotte will turn three shortly after her younger sibling is born. It’s likely that the new baby’s christening will be a similar affair; Charlotte’s was held at the Church of St Mary Magdelene in front of just 21 guests, and saw her wear the same silk and lace christening gown that George wore for his baptism.

We’re still gawping over Mario Testino’s stunning, intimate photos of the event – especially the candid shot of the Duchess of Cambridge gazing adoringly at her baby girl.

Meanwhile Prince George, the oldest of the bunch, will turn five this year – it’s hard to believe it’s been that long since we were all waiting for the first glimpse of William and Kate’s first child outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, London.

However, a lot of the pictures of both George and Charlotte are in fact taken by Kate herself. From the picture released for Charlotte’s second birthday to adorable shots of George holding his sister as a tiny baby, it’s refreshing to see family snaps taken by their mum.

Of course, the family photo albums will only continue to grow, especially once William and Kate’s third child is welcomed into the world later this month.

So, while we wait with bated breath for the first snaps of the newborn, join us as we take a look back on the best snaps of the Cambridge family so far…
