Like so many actresses at last night's Oscars, Amy Adams played it safe. The general consensus at marieclaire.co.uk is that this crimson Caroline Herrera gown would have looked a thousand times more chic without the black piping. Plus, we love the striking multi-coloured Fred Leighton necklace but not teamed with that dress. A little disappointing, but we'll let you off just this once Amy! (22 February 2009)
