The Cambridges are undoubtedly one of the most talked-about families in the world, and following their role elevation over the coronavirus pandemic, it’s hardly surprising that Prince William and Kate Middleton are making even more news.

From Kate Middleton's handy face mask trick to the news that the Duke and Duchess are hiring an important new role for their team, the Cambridge couple make non-stop headlines, especially since their relocation to Kensington Palace.

It is the three Cambridge children that make the most headlines, with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis often featured on the Cambridge Instagram account. And whether they're decorating a cake with pipe cleaners or clapping for carers, they never fail to rake in the likes.

It was surprising therefore when Prince William and Kate Middleton made a dramatic change to their social media accounts this week, appearing to narrow the focus to just them.

First, the royal couple changed their handle from ‘@kensingtonroyal’ as they were previously known to ‘@dukeandduchessofcambridge’. And not only this, but the profile picture was changed from a formal snap of the family of five to a casual picture of just the Duke and Duchess.

What does it all mean? We'll have to wait and see.
