    Things are getting pretty serious...

Since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's relationship was announced in November, the world has been following their every move.

In the past few months the couple has ticked off a lot of relationship milestones: Christmas tree shopping, meeting the parents, and now people are waiting for a royal proposal, with rumours sparking that they could be engaged by September 21st.

According to Us Weekly, a friend of the couple has announced that Prince Harry is planning on proposing to Meghan, and soon, with the Royal apparently hoping to propose near the anniversary of the couple's first date. 'They will be engaged by the end of summer', the source explained, apparently adding that they ‘have spoken candidly about their future’ and ‘see a life together.’

Although that would be a pretty speedy engagement, we wouldn't be surprised judging by how strong the couple seem to be just nine months into their relationship, with a source telling Us Weekly, ‘I honestly can’t stress how happy [Meghan] is. Out of 10, I’d say 150.’

The Suits actress was spotted out and about last month, wearing a gold ring with the letter 'H' on it, with many seeing it as a subtle nod to her boyfriend.

This isn't the first time that the couple have gone down the sentimental jewellery route, with the actress spotted in December wearing a necklace with the the letter 'H' and the letter 'M' on it. The couple were also said to wear matching beaded bracelets before making their relationship public.

If we were Meghan Markle, we would definitely be doing the same thing. Plus, after meeting the family, couple jewellery definitely seems like the next logical step.

Just last month news emerged that the couple had already met each other's families, with Meghan's brother confirming that Prince Harry met the in-laws in Toronto before the pair were publicly dating. It was also later revealed that Meghan met Kate Middleton and Charlotte at Kensington Palace in February. Seeing as Kate had recently celebrated her 35th birthday, Meghan reportedly even brought along a birthday present to break the ice: a leather-bound dream journal.

Though Prince George couldn’t attend, due to prior engagements (school), a source said the meeting went ‘very well’.

It comes just two months after Meghan met Prince William - and it's all too sweet.

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship was announced in November, the world started speculating about when they would be making the next step: meeting the parents. It was revealed this week, however, that it has already happened - at least for Harry anyway.

Apparently Prince Harry was introduced to Meghan Markle's father six months ago, before it was even public knowledge that the couple were dating.

Meeting the parents is a real relationship milestone - a make it or break it moment - but it looks like Harry has nothing to worry about - Meghan's family certainly seem to approve. Funnily enough we're not surprised.

Meghan's half-brother Thomas Markle Jr, 50, explained how his father, Thomas Markle Sr, 72, met Harry during the Prince's visit to Toronto.

'They're extremely happy together, they look great together and she's done good' he explained, adding that their father is 'extremely proud of her.'

'I think it is wonderful' her half-brother continued. 'As long as he takes care of and loves Meg, he doesn't have to do anything else...he looks like a genuinely good man, and he was in the services as well.' He added: 'He looks happy, he looks like he's stress-free and like he could be a good guy for Meg.'

As for her becoming a princess, Thomas certainly thinks she has what it takes: 'Meghan is already accomplished in life and now there's this on top of it. I mean it's every girl's dream to become a princess but she never said anything about it. She's the right girl for the job. It's not a job, but she's the right girl. You couldn't get a more refined, well-rounded girl than her.'

The Queen is also said to approve of their relationship and has given Prince Harry and Meghan her blessing.

The Queen is 'fully supportive' of the pair, and is 'delighted to see Harry in a loving relationship,' a source from Buckingham Palace told US Weekly.

The couple recently made their first appearance in public together since their relationship was confirmed, while Meghan was visiting Prince Harry in London.

    And, look!

The couple were spotted buying a Christmas tree together at Pine and Needles in Battersea Park. And they're not the only famous faces to visit the store, according to the BBC, Adele also visits the London outpost with her son to get her Christmas tree. Maybe we should pay a visit sometime?

The shop's manager John Wilkie said that the team was 'very, very, proud to be able to serve a member of the Royal Family', while other staff members described the couple as being very nice and friendly.

The pair reportedly left holding hands, Prince Harry carrying the 6ft tree and Meghan with a bunch of mistletoe.

    Awwwwwwww.

It looks as though Prince William has given Prince Harry his full support over the release of the statement confirming this relationship with actress Meghan Markle and asking that her privacy was respected.

The Telegraph reports that Kensington Palace has issued a statement, apparently at the Duke of Cambridge's request, to say that he fully supports Prince Harry's decision to go public with the relationship.

The statement reportedly read: 'The Duke of Cambridge absolutely understands the situation concerning privacy and supports the need for Prince Harry to support those closest to him.'

The Telegraph also reported that a royal source said: '[Prince William and Prince Harry] don't issue statements like that without talking to each other, and they talked about the Meghan Markle statement extensively in advance of it being put out.

'The Duke was as alarmed as anyone about what was happening to Meghan. No one wanted to have to put that statement out, including Prince Harry, and there was concern about confirming the relationship.

'But over the course of one weekend things escalated to the extent that Prince Harry felt he had to act.'

After Prince Harry confirmed his relationship with Meghan Markle in an open letter last week, Markle has now broken her silence... via Instagram (before you get excited, it’s not a couple selfie with Harry).

The post, which is an image from the actor, writer and blogger’s lifestyle site, The Tig, features a quote from Gandhi that reads, ‘be the change you wish to see in the world’.

‘A favorite from @thetigofficial! Sending some extra love today to Emily, Sol, Domi, Hannah, Sih, Doris, JessyScarlett and all of you who have been so supportive for years. I've missed you guys ❤️#bethechange #TheTig,’ she captioned the image. Decipher what this means at your leisure.

Prince Harry has broken his silence on Meghan Markle, confirming his relationship with the 35-year-old actress whilst simultaneously lambasting the public harassment of his girlfriend.

In a highly unusual move, Prince Harry has issued a strongly worded statement by way of his communications secretary, hitting out at the ‘wave of abuse and harassment’, adding that he is ‘worried’ for Markle’s safety.

In a statement released on the official Kensington Palace Twitter page, the release outlined the severity of the situation: ‘Some of this has been very public – the smear on the front page of a national newspaper; the racial undertones of comment pieces; and the outright sexism and racism of social media trolls and web article comments.’

Yes, everyone's favourite Prince (sorry Wills) is dating Amercian actress Meghan Markle. So it looks like it's back to Tinder for us.

Apparently the two met in Canada during Harry's promotional tour for the Invictus Games, and a source has claimed the Prince is 'besotted' with the Suits star.

However, things have taken a bit of a turn, with Harry reportedly cancelling a flight to see Meghan in Canada.

According to Mail Online, Harry was booked on a British Airways flight from Heathrow on Monday, but he cancelled it just hours before he was due to leave after the news of this burgeoning new romance broke.

However, it seems like this could just be a temporary blip, as the 'couple' seem pretty into each other. In an interview with The Express, an anonymous source close to the Prince revealed that 'he's happier than he's been for many years.'

'They are taking each week as it comes and just enjoying each other's company but it's fair to say that they love seeing each other and there's a definite chemistry between them,' the source added.

'Harry has been desperate to keep the relationship quiet because he doesn't want to scare Meghan off. He knows things will change when their romance is public knowledge but he also knows he can't keep it a secret for long.'

'It's too early to say if the relationship will lead to anything long-term but who knows? At the moment they are just taking it a step at a time and seeing how things develop,' said the source.

However, new rumours report that the 35-year-old Suits actress has already met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and has made several secret visits to the United Kingdom to see Harry.

Meghan was spotted at Wimbledon supporting her friend Serena Williams in both June and July, and just this month has been staying at private members club Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire.

Kensington Palace have declined to comment on the rumoured romance as it is a 'private matter', but with any luck we could soon be seeing photos of Hazza and Meghan in the royal family album.
