Move over Netflix, because we’ve found our new docu fix and it’s all about fave high street store, Zara.
The new film being released by Prime Entertainment Group follows Zara founder, Amancio Ortega, behind the scenes of the the business that causes our bank balances to fall dramatically…
Giving an exclusive insider look at the workings of one of the biggest fashion companies in the world, with fly on the wall cameras giving a true insight of the notoriously press-shy founder and the runnings of the company.
The fascinating documentary, titled Zara: The Story Of The World’s Richest Man features some juicy info you probably never knew about the brand…
Like Ortega was loaned €30 from the bank to start his business, which was initially selling quilted bathrobes! And how the name Zara actually came from where he and his wife went on their honeymoon – a Croatian harbour called Zadar. Awwwww.
But the real reason we’ll be watching is to see how the fashion giant basically invented fast fashion. Usually it takes around 40 weeks from start to finish to get something on the market. Zara can do it it just two- four weeks!
Other than the inner workings of the the man dubbed as the richest man in the world, we’re obviously going to celebrate with some new purchases from the Spanish shopping haunt… As well as this Kate Moss approved brand that is about to become your new favourite store.
This oversized striped shirt is perfect for work to weekend outfits and at just under £40, we’re sold.
And for the perfect summer into autumn dress, of course Zara have nailed it – with this stunning red and pink crochet number.
So while we prepare for the documentary to hit UK shores, we’ll be be collecting our very own Zara memorabilia – in the form of a whole new autumn wardrobe.
See you at the checkout!
