It’s not often that the Victoria’s Secret angels cover up their bodies, but that’s exactly what Miranda Kerr and Candice Swanepoel did yesterday to launch the brand’s new swimwear collection.
The H-O-T twosome struck a series of flirty poses in a Los Angeles pool, keeping their figures under wraps in long-sleeved crochet dresses over the top of coloured bikinis as they launched the American label’s spring/summer 2012 range.
But, unusually for a Victoria’s Secret launch, they didn’t take the dresses off to pose in just their bikinis – part of the Gorgeous Swim collection inspired by the fit of the best-selling Gorgeous bra. Sorry boys!
MIRANDA KERR: STYLE HIGHS AND LOWS
The range, which is sure to be another sell-out, will feature more than 375 styles, including lots of must-have bikinis and swimsuits in fizzing neon colours and vibrant prints with lashings of beading detailing, embroidery and sparkle.
And there’s not long to go now before British shoppers can get in on the VS action, with the brand’s London flagship set to open its doors on Bond Street this summer.
