Oasis has just served up the cosiest winter coat, and it’s only £89

Unsurprisingly, it’s selling out fast

Unsurprisingly, it’s selling out fast

You know when you’re just so cold that you can’t face going out in your pretty yet completely impractical duster coat, but don’t want to whip out the ski jacket either as it feels a bit extreme?

Well Oasis has come up with the perfect solution, in the form of this super cosy yet pretty stylish winter coat.

It’s lined with faux shearling to keep you toasty, but the winner for me is the aviator style and elegant cream shade.

Plus it rings in at £89, which is really quite good for a warm winter coat, especially if you can’t stretch to real shearling.

Even though it only launched this morning (exclusively online), it’s already out of stock in XL, and Oasis predict it’ll sell fast, so it might be worth getting sooner rather than later if you’ve got your heart set on it.

If you're worried it's not dressy enough for work, then I would dress it up with a floaty maxi skirt, or flared fabric trousers and ankle boots.

For a more casual look, then try frayed denim and suede trainers.

Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
