Natalie Portman married Benjamin Millepied wearing a Rodarte wedding dress

It's believed that actress Natalie Portman married ballet dancer Benjamin Millepied in a wedding gown by Rodarte

It's her tried and tested designer label of choice, so it comes as no real surprise that Natalie Portman reportedly decided to walk down the aisle in a Rodarte wedding dress as she married Benjamin Milliepied this weekend.

The label has yet to confirm the rumours, but it's believed that the 1950s-inspired white gown that the Black Swan star wore to the ceremony in California's Big Sur region is a bespoke creation by the sister design duo behind the label, Laura and Kate Mulleavy.

A few sneaky pictures of the dress have leaked online showing the actress walking hand-in-hand with her new husband wearing a midi-length dress with a nipped waist, full flared skirt and a tulle sheer overlay covering her arms and chest. In the picture, the blushing bride is also wearing white flat shoes, a floral garland in her hair and a veil.

NATALIE PORTMAN STYLE HIGHS & LOWS

Natalie has long been a close friend and muse to the Mulleavy sisters, wearing their designs on the red carpet on numerous occasions. These include the blue and black lace dress that she wore to the Berlin premiere of The Other Boleyn Girl, the vibrant pink strapless gown at the 2009 Oscars, the stunning red dress with sheer layers that she swept down the red carpet in at the Venice Film Festival the following year and, most famously, the plum gown that she wore whilst pregnant with her first child when she scooped the 2011 Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Black Swan.

The star met French ballet dancer and choreographer Milliepied on the set of award-winning psychological thriller back in 2010. The couple, who have a son called Aleph, married in an intimate Jewish ceremony outside at sunset at a private residence in the picturesque region of Big Sur on Saturday.
