Sultry singer Lana Del Rey is rumoured to be the new face of high street chain H&M
She's already been embraced by the fashion world and had a Mulberry bag named after her, and now Lana Del Rey is rumoured to have landed her first big campaign as the new face of H&M.
It's believed that the sultry singer has bagged a bumper contract with the Swedish high street giant to be the new poster girl for the store, with the New York Post reporting that she is set to shoot the ads soon in NYC.
H&M are keeping schtum on the matter for now, with a spokesperson telling us: 'There is always a lot of speculation on our upcoming campaigns and collaborations and we do not like to comment on rumours. We have lots of exciting H&M campaigns coming up this autumn and we will announce these at the start of the new season.'

Despite some criticism from some corners for her pouty look and shaky live performances, the fashion world has welcomed the singer with open arms. Tracks such as her huge hit Video Games have regularly been used to soundtrack fashion shows for the likes of Christopher Kane and Emilio de la Morena.
What's more, Mulberry recently gave her the honour of naming one of their bags after her, the hugely popular Del Rey, and she also hit the red carpet for the biggest date in the fashion calendar – the 2012 Met Ball in May.

If the rumours are true, Lana will follow in the footsteps of Georgia May Jagger, Selma Blair and, most recently, British actress Imogen Poots, who have all fronted H&M campaigns.
