Madonna and Lourdes have traded in Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen and chosen Kelly Osbourne to front their Material Girl clothing collection
Forget Gossip Girls, Madonna has traded in Taylor Momsen for a new model to front her Material Girl clothing line - Kelly Osbourne!
Ms O has signed up to front the superstar singer's collection, which she designs alongside 14-year-old daughter Lourdes. It is expected that Kelly will star in ads for the brand and take part in promotional events.
A statement confirmed the news this week: 'Material Girl is thrilled to confirm that Kelly Osbourne is the new face for 2011! We will be sharing all the details on this exciting new campaign in the upcoming weeks.'
Momsen was the label's first spokesperson, launching the collection alongside the mother-daughter design pair at Macy's last year.
The move is another blow for the 17-year-old Gossip Girl, who was reportedly suspended from the hit show due to a run of bad behaviour. Her character, Jenny Humphrey, has been relegated from a series regular, appearing only occasionally during the current run.
