She wore some statement headwear to collect her CBE a couple of weeks ago, and Kate Winslet delved into her hat collection once more choosing an unusual gold fascinator to watch some horse racing in Hong Kong this weekend.
The Oscar-winning actress was the star guest at the Longines Hong Kong International Races at the Sha Tin Racecourse in the city – Kate is currently the face of Longines watches.
For her race day styling, the British star chose a figure-hugging red dress with embroidery detailing and sheer sections on the sides by Stella McCartney, which accentuated her curves. Kate accessorised her look with some strappy Jimmy Choo sandals and a gold floral and netted fascinator by milliner-to-the-stars Philip Treacy, worn on top of her ponytail hairstyle.

Kate, who was accompanied at the event by boyfriend Ned Rocknroll, was shown around the course, watched some races and was later presented with a bunch of flowers by jockey Matthew Chadwick, after he won the 2,000m group one race.
It's not the first time the mother-of-two has tried out some unusual headwear. Last month, she wore a monochrome feathered fascinator by Natalie Ellner for Elsewhere and an Alexander McQueen skirt suit to receive her CBE from the Queen at Buckingham Palace.
