The yellow suit is EVERYTHING

If you've been keeping an eye on Blake Lively's style evolution through the years, you'll know the woman knows her fashion. Still, we were quite impressed when she managed to pull not one, not two, but three outfit changes in one day.

The actress has been out and about promoting her new film All I See Is You in New York, and chose different looks for each media appearance or interview she did. Well, you wouldn't want to be caught twice in the same outfit, now would you?

Blake started off the day like she meant business, in a three-piece plaid suit from the Ralph Lauren AW17 collection, which she accessorised with a tie, burgundy Michael Kors bag and studded biker boots. The outfit was so spot on, in even earned her fashion kudos from Gigi Hadid, who called her 'everything'.

Later on, the actress changed into a fabulous houndstooth Chanel jumpsuit, paired with a novelty rolling dice bag, also by Chanel, and Louboutin heels.

The mum-of-two also got papped later in the day in a blue wrap coat layered over a striped skirt and floral boots, which she wore with a brown leather jacket.

After all those muted shades, it was time for Blake to brighten things up a bit, and that she did with a yellow two-piece Brandon Maxwell outfit with palazzo trousers and bell sleeves. She paired it with Lorraine Scwhartz diamond earrings, because why not? (The pair are BFFs in real life, so would be rude not to).

So far so good, but she made the look even better by adding some gold leopard heels by Charlotte Olympia. Just look at them.

Four outfits later, Blake opted for an elegant strapless Oscar de la Renta midi dress, that she loved so much, she had to share pictures of it from various angles on her Instagram page. To be fair, I would to.

When evening came, Blake looked to Studio 54 for inspiration, and as you can imagine, there was plenty of glitter involved.

She caught up with husband Ryan Reynolds in between interviews, and wore a navy sequin basketball-style vest, emblazoned with the word 'Monster', which she paired with wide trousers, red stilettos and matching red coat. Fierce.

Finally, for her last outfit of the day (you still with me?), Blake went for a dazzling silver dress with metallic chain detailing, teamed with strappy sandals and elegant white duster coat.

Over and out.

Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
