The suit made for Thomas Markle for the royal wedding has a new owner

Any guesses who?

Any guesses who?

Although the royal wedding last month went off without a hitch, there's one aspect of the day that didn't go as originally planned.

Thomas Markle was unable to attend his daughter's wedding, having undergone heart surgery shortly before the big day on the 19th of May.

The father of the bride recently opened up about how he felt watching Prince Charles escort his daughter up the aisle, thanking the heir to the throne for stepping in.

If the thought had fleetingly crossed your mind about what happened to the (probably quite fancy) suit Mr Markle was due to wear, the mystery has been solved.

The suit has a brand new owner and has finally had its first official outing, at Ascot, no less.

Johnno Spence, a sports PR director, bottom right, was spotted wearing the wedding suit about week ago.

Looks pretty smart, doesn't he?

'When Johnno walked in, the tailor said: "We've got the perfect morning suit for you",' a source told the Mail on Sunday.

'He said they were made for Mr Markle for the royal wedding but obviously he never came over to pick them up.'

Mr Spence has also acquired three custom-made shirts, a navy weekend suit, a set of tails and a single-breasted waistcoat, according to Metro.

'He said with a few adjustments, they'd fit Johnno like a glove – and they did,' the source added.

We're glad to hear that the clothing is all going to good use.
