Marie Claire’s cover star was red hot as she wore a dress by Kate Middleton’s favourite designer at the Country Music Awards
Taylor Swift showed she’s not just the darling of music at last night’s Country Music Awards, she also proved her power as a key fashion player as she walked the red carpet in a stunning Jenny Packham dress.
The gorgeous gown from Kate Middleton’s favourite designer featured a sheer nude fabric embellished with red sequined flowers. And the Marie Claire cover star stuck to the theme wearing a hot red shade on her lips and nails.
She dressed the look down refusing to wear heavy jewellery, allowing her gown to do the talking, while she wore her hair loose and to the side.
Red was certainly the colour of the night for Taylor as she later took to the stage in a 50s style dress complete with small white flowers. She performed in front of a stunning Paris-style backdrop complete with the Eiffel Tower - magnifique!
The CMAs were held in Nashville, Tennesse, and they saw the star nominated for an incredible four awards, including Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Musical Event of the Year for Safe & Sound with The Civil Wars.
Unfortunately she went home empty handed but certainly won yet more admiration from the public, as she stepped out for the first time since her reported split with Conor Kennedy. She even smiled as the event’s hosts, Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, poked fun at the break-up.
