The Breaking Dawn actor shaved his head for new flick Cosmopolis, and will don fake locks to film the final scenes…
We must admit to being a little sad when Robert Pattinson shaved off his locks for a role in new flick Cosmopolis. And it seems we weren’t the only ones.
So it’s been revealed R-Patz will have to wear a wig for the remainder of filming.
‘The wig looks brilliant and nobody will notice,’ said one insider, who told how the costume department were hastily scrambled to recreate an exact match of Mr Pattinson’s pre-Cosmopolis locks.
‘Robert didn’t think cutting off his locks would be such a big deal.’
Well he thought wrong, didn’t he.
Earlier this week Breaking Dawn director Bill Condon took to Facebook to spill the beans on the movie’s re-shoots, confirming there will be no ‘new scenes or dialogue’ added, just a handful of technical shots.
‘A film is a lot like a puzzle, with each piece – each shot, no matter how brief – needing to fit exactly with the ones around it,’ he wrote.
‘Our Part Two puzzle is finally coming into full view, and in a few weeks we’ll be heading back north to pick up some additional shots – the last tiny missing pieces. We’re not shooting any new scenes or dialogue, just some technical work with some of our cast and stunt actors.’
