Robert Pattinson may have looks, talent and a more-than-healthy bank balance but we’ve discovered one thing he lacks and that’s romance! For Kristen Stewart’s 23rd birthday he reportedly splashed out on a pen but in his defense it did come with a £30,000 price tag.

Yes, that’s right the Twilight star bought his girlfriend some very expensive stationary. While it’s not the most seductive gift out there, it does have a special meaning for the couple - Kristen is allegedly a pen collector.

The Daily Star report Robert Pattinson went to a lot of effort to purchase the limited-edition pen. A source told the newspaper: ‘Rob decided to go big for her birthday this year and brought her a limited edition white gold Tibaldi Bentley Crewe fountain pen.

‘He had her name specially engraved on it with the year and wording: From R.’

But that’s not the only gem of this gift, it reportedly has an 18-carat gold nib covered in rhodium and ruthenium and the barrel of the pen is identical to the first ever Bentley car’s dashboard. That certainly beats the biro currently sitting on our desk!
