Robert Pattinson Meets His Idol Damon Albarn At Coachella

Robert Pattinson reportedly ‘grinned like a Cheshire cat’ on meeting the Blur front man

Robert Pattinson had his dreams come true this weekend when he met with one of his biggest idols at Coachella. While being a film star certainly covers a large part of Robert’s life ambitions, meeting Damon Albarn from Blur was another he’s just ticked off.

The Sun report that Robert Pattinson had been keen to meet with the British band who shot to fame in the 90s as soon as he heard they were headlining at the Californian festival. While some reports suggest it was a struggle for the two parties to arrange a meeting the newspaper claim they did manage to align their schedules.

In fact Damon and Robert had a chat over a beer about British music with the Twilight alumni even inviting him to a party offsite the following day.

It’s not known if the Brits did get round to having a second drink but the meeting is sure to make Robert Pattinson a very happy man.

Last week reports emerged that the actor is returning to his musical roots and has been writing and playing lots of music while he enjoys some down time inbetween film projects. And he has the support of Kristen Stewart too.

An insider told Hollywoodlife.com ‘Kristen is super supportive of him and his dreams, and she’s constantly boosting his confidence when it comes to taking risks in his music career, whether it’s writing or performing. Basically, anything that involves music.’

If this means we get to see more of Robert Pattinson we certainly won’t be complaining.
