Rihanna hasn’t spent the festive season taking a well-earned break, instead she’s had a full on Christmas and ensured Chris Brown featured in a big part on her plans. Despite her usual hectic schedule (that means she has little opportunity to be back in Bardabos with her family) she saw her boyfriend on Christmas Day.
The duo were snapped courtside at a basketball match in LA yesterday. As proof that the rocky romance has hit more stable ground the couple were spied flirting with each other and both appeared blissfully happy.

Rihanna took the opportunity to dress up in chic black trousers and a top complete with gold collar. She sported a deep red on her lips – looking every inch the superstar with her elfin crop perfectly in place as she watched the game at the Staples Centre.
While she cuddled up to her beau, Rihanna shunned reports she’d spent the weekend in tears after Chris reportedly failed to show up at her family party. The Sun claim the singer was ‘devastated’ and broke down in tears after Chris chose not to attend her shindig in Barbados.

On Sunday night, the notorious party girl hosted friends and family but they were allegedly left stunned after Chris failed to support his girlfriend. A friend of Rihanna told the newspaper: ‘Rihanna was a mess. She had told her family Chris would join her. They were prepared to forgive him for what happened in the past and welcome him back. It seems she just can’t get over him. She thinks he’s playing games with her mind.’
Rihanna had hoped to spend the 25th and New Year with Chris at her villa in Barbados but instead she flew to LA on Christmas Eve to be with him.
Lets hope 2013 will see a happier spell for the pair.
