Lily Allen took a funny turn while Christmas shopping but quickly tweeted to say all she needed was a snack
Harrods, and its array of awe-inspiring designer buys is enough to make any girl feel light headed, and that’s just the price tags, but poor Lily Allen actually fainted in the luxury department store yesterday. Although she was quick to reassure concerned fans she was fine.
As the pregnant singer stepped out for a spot of Christmas shopping in the iconic London store, she felt dizzy and fainted. Although she seemed unfazed by the incident as she shared the news on Twitter and insisted she was simply hungry and wanted a croque monsieur.
She tweeted: ‘Just fainted in Harrods. #croquemonsieur needed.'
And the shopping pro that she is wouldn’t let a small thing like fainting stop her from hitting the aisles as she also informed fans that she continued on her spree.
Lily snapped up gifts for her nephew and they all went under the Harry Potter theme, as she posted: ‘On the bright side, managed to pick up Professor Snape Wand in Ollivanders box and Slitherin pen for Nephews Xmas present. #luckyboy [sic]'
Many pregnant women feel dizzy and faint from time to time, and clearly Lily, who already has been through one pregnancy with her first daughter, Ethel, wasn't concerned.
Lily is due to give birth next month, with hopes her and husband Sam Cooper will have an arrival in time for Christmas.
