Pippa Middleton to pen party planning guide?

Pippa's poised to sign lucrative book deal on how to be the perfect party host, according to reports

She helped organise the reception party of the biggest wedding of the year, so it is no surprise Pippa Middleton is poised to pen a book on how to play the perfect party hostess.

Pippa Middleton, 28, is rumoured to be close to signing a lucrative book deal on party planning and is in talks with literary agent David Godwin who confirmed the speculation but refused to elaborate. ‘Things aren’t at all clear at the moment,’ he said.

It is thought the book will advise readers on matters such as party etiquette, food and decorations, and could net Pippa Middleton - who works part-time for her parents' online company Party Pieces - more than £1 million in sales and spin-off projects.

A publishing source told the Sunday Times: 'Pippa is very serious about the project and has been going to meet publishers personally. Pippa hasn’t signed a contract yet but I don’t think it will be far off.

'She is a good writer but I expect she would be offered the services of an experienced ghost writer.'

However Pippa Middleton, who actively helped organise the wedding reception of Kate Middleton's wedding to Prince William, doesn't want to appear to cash in on her new-found connections and has apparently consulted advisers at St James’s Palace over a launch date so as not to clash with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations next summer.
