Kate Middleton’s younger sister, Pippa has rejected the chance of a glittering celebrity career across the pond, out of respect for her royal relatives.
Pippa Middleton had been inundated with offers to appear on American talk shows but has turned them all down.
The reason, according to the New York Daily News, is that she didn’t want to ‘embarrass’ Kate Middleton.

Following the royal wedding there’s been a huge interest in Pippa, which has resulted in her being besieged with offers from a collection of the biggest TV programmes in the States. The Daily Star report that TV executives had hoped she’d take up a role as a special correspondent for shows such as Entertainment Tonight and Oprah Winfrey.
But out of respect for her sister, the Duchess of Cambridge, Pippa has reportedly refused to accept any work on screen with a source telling the New York Daily News: ‘If Pippa is quizzed about Kate’s topless pictures, whatever answer she gives will generate more news and upset Wills and Kate.’

The photo scandal has also delayed the release of Pippa’s upcoming party planning book, Celebrate in the US because she does not want to face awkward questions about the incident.

The source added: “Viking [Celebrate’s publisher] was hoping that there would be a huge swell of publicity for this book which would lead to sales.
‘Nobody has really ever heard Pippa speak before and US audiences are fascinated by her. This could have launched a new lucrative career here.”
But it appears for the Middleton sisters, family comes first.
