The Kardashians caused chaos in London at the launch of their Kardashian Kollection for Dorothy Perkins

There's something about the Kardashians that makes people act in the most bizarre way. As journalists we've been to our fair share of parties and events, but never have we seen a bunch of adults behave in such a way as we did at the Kardashian Kollection launch party in London last night.

Firstly, a whole road in Central London had been blocked off for the party, which celebrated their new line for Phillip Green's Dorothy Perkins, by a security team so strict it took us an uncomfortably long wait to even get into the party.

Once inside it was all very civilised with delicious canapes and free-flowing cocktails, apart from the odd whisper about a possible appearance from Kanye West, this was a celebrity bash just like all the others.

That was until Kourtney and Kim Kardashian arrived.

In all our years as journalists we have never seen anything like it. As the Kardashian sisters took their seats in a reserved VIP area there was a massive surge as half the club swarmed around the reality stars.

The crowd, about six people deep, unashamedly elbowed each other (us included) to get a photo as Kim and Kourtney sipped on their cocktails.

Not normally ones to get starstruck, the Marie Claire girls joined the throng of excited Kardashian groupie to get a much sought after snap of the duo, who were sitting in the middle of the crowd serenely chatting to each other as if they had just popped out for a quiet drink.

It's the most odd thing we've seen in a long time. Kardashian Khaos has well and truly hit the UK.
