The Hollywood jeweller who designed the creation has opened after speculation began yesterday
They set tongues wagging after arriving at Sunday’s Oscars with two very unexplained silver bands on their wedding fingers, and since then, Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied have kept us guessing.
Did they marry in secret?
Well it seems today we’ve finally found the answer to that all-important question, after the jeweller who designed the couple’s sparkling new rings spilled the beans.
According to American magazine People, jeweller-to-the-stars – and friend of Natalie and Benjamin – Jamie Wolf was responsible for the couple’s wedding bands, creating two bespoke designs.
For blushing bride Ms Portman she designed two tiny eco-friendly, ethically-sourced diamond rings, made especially to fit either side of her whopping engagement sparkler.
And for Millepied? A simple platinum band, made using recycled metals.
The designer was also responsible for Natalie’s enormous engagement bauble, revealing at the time that the star’s doting finance came up with the design himself.
‘Ben was exceptionally thoughtful and dedicated and patient to make sure we had everything right,’ she revealed.
‘We wanted everything about the ring to speak to things that are important to Natalie.’
So there you have it!
