The songstress has fuelled rumours of a rift once again

Earlier this year Nadine Coyle confirmed a Girls Aloud comeback was definitely on the cards, with fab five planning something special for next year.

But now the Northern Irish songstress has fuelled rumours of a rift in the band once again, revealing her band mates are definitely not 'friends'

While Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh are often spotted out and about together - last month even Tweeting snaps from a cosy girl’s night in – Nadine is nowhere to be seen.

Now the 26-year-old songbird has explained all, revealing she doesn’t have much contact with the four other girls, and would rather turn to friends for a night out.

‘They're not my friends. I don't speak to them or socialise with them,’ the Northern Irish beauty reportedly told Heat.

‘I have my own friends that I've grown up with and the girls are very much my colleagues. I wouldn't socialise with them outside of work.’

According to reports, Nadine has struggled to get along with her fellow band members in the past – in particular ex-X Factor starlet Cheryl Cole, who won the chart war when they both released solo singles last year.

‘Nadine and Cheryl have never been close, and they're not about to start now,’ one insider revealed. ‘They are two very different people who were forced upon each other in the band.’

‘She has always hated the fact that Nadine has a better voice than her and was always given lead vocals, but the sad truth is that having the better voice doesn't matter as Cheryl's had a string of solo hits and Nadine's solo career has fallen flat on its face.’

Ouch.
