Warning: might make your Bank Holiday look a bit rubbish
Where did you spend your bank holiday weekend? Barbecue in the garden? Pub with friends? Whatever it was, it’s about to seem a whole lot less glam when you see how Millie Mackintosh and new boyfriend Hugo Taylor, spent theirs. Millie and Hugo might not appear in the show any more, but that clearly hasn’t stopped them from uttering their favourite line: ‘I just need to get out of Chelsea.’
So when the rest of us were sleeping off a hangover or doing ill fated DIY, the great and the good were watching the Monaco Grand Prix, which is officially about racing cars, but really about the world’s celebrities going to Monaco, wearing incredible outfits and soaking up the sun.
Whilst they’ve never needed an excuse to escape to the sun, Millie and Hugo took to the French Riviera to celebrate Hugo’s 30th birthday.
Millie shared a number of pics of herself on a yacht in a variety of gorgeous bikinis, as well as a selfie congratulating Lewis Hamilton on his race. Millie and Hugo were joined by ex Made in Chelsea cast made Spencer Matthews and his current girlfriend Morgane Robart and in the process, Mills shared this snap seemingly confirming her romance with ex-reality TV star Taylor.
It’s not just Made in Chelsea stars who had a super-glam bank holiday weekend, though. Stars including Reece Witherspoon, Rosamund Pike, Justin Bieber and Patrick Depsey all turned up to the Grand Prix in Monaco, where (if it makes you feel any better) it was raining.
As for the rest of celebesville? Of course they all had equally fabulous bank holidays. Karlie Kloss and co went to see Beyoncé in concert, posting a super excited picture with her girlfriends, captioned ‘Okay ladies, now let’s get in formation.’
Gwyneth Paltrow took Apple and Moses on a trip to Barcelona to see their dad Chris Martin perform with his band Coldplay.
Chris Hemsworth channelled his inner Thor during teppanyaki.
At least Drew Barrymore did pretty much the same thing we did, posting a picture of herself kicking back with a bottle of rosé wine. The only slight difference being that instead of the local corner shop, Drew’s bottle came from her own vineyard, Barrymore wines.
