She's a master at multi-tasking
It’s safe to say that Meghan Markle has a lot on her plate at the moment, from her continued efforts to support women’s rights, royal engagements and naturally her upcoming wedding preparations. Somehow, the actress has managed to stay afloat with dignity and grace despite the pressure and it’s recently revealed just what exactly the royal-to-be has been getting up to.
A source revealed to PEOPLE, ‘Meghan has been regularly making private visits to organisations as she gets to know the U.K. charity sector.’
Given that the royals are heavily involved in charity efforts such as their Heads Together campaign, Meghan’s long history working with charities such as UNICEF makes her a natural fit – and bears a striking resemblance to Princess Diana’s own dedication to humanitarian causes. In fact, it was recently revealed that Meghan has been secretly sneaking out of Kensington Palace and visiting the survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire.
One of Prince Harry’s friends revealed, ‘[Megan’s] got good causes in her heart too. They had done similar things in their [individual] charity work, and he’s really following her lead.’
Although Meghan’s obviously a super capable woman, even Wonder Woman needed a sidekick or two to make a difference. Palace aide Amy Pickerill was recently appointed as Meghan’s partner-in-crime to help with her day to day and it appears as if the Suits star has a great network of people around her.
‘She’s on a very busy schedule behind the scenes. She has her wedding preparation and is meeting a number of people all the time — from Harry’s charities, staff at the household and the Royal Foundation,’ the source told PEOPLE.
With Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding date inching ever closer, everybody must be working overtime to make sure the May 19 nuptials go according to plan. Here’s hoping that Harry’s pulling his weight, though we don’t doubt Meghan can probably run circles around him.
