She's already being called a modern day Princess Diana...

Meghan Markle may be the newest member of the Royal Family but she has already been making quite the impression as a public favourite, already boasting royal fans and followers.

People were surprised therefore when it was revealed this week that the 36-year-old has been sneaking out of Kensington Palace to walk around London incognito.

But what has she been doing?

Well, aside from getting to know her new city, it looks like the former Suits actress has been dedicating a lot of time to her charity work.

According to recent reports, Meghan has been making secret visits to those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire, even making two recent visits to the Al Manaar community mosque next to the tower’s remains.

‘Meghan’s visits mean so much to us,’ one source told the Mirror. ‘She has a special place in our hearts’, with other sources explaining how she had attended alone with just one aide and some royal protection.

Kensington Palace also commented on the news, confirming to the Telegraph that ‘Meghan has been regularly making private visits to organisations as she gets to know the UK charity sector.’

People are already calling Meghan Markle a modern day Princess Diana - and we can see why.
