Kelly Rowland and her 17-year-old X Factor finalist Amelia Lily, hit the town last night with a host of big names for a night of decadence at The Box in Soho.
Our gorgeous cover star Kelly Rowland last night launched her partnership with Dutch watch company TW Steel at a top Soho nightspot – and took along her last remaining act Amelia Lily for company.
The two ladies were joined by a host of celebs including Estelle, Dionne Broomfield and Rizzle Kicks (and Marie Claire, naturally!) for the launch party at The Box in Soho.
The exclusive London venue is a regular with celeb clientele including Kate Moss, Gwyneth Patrol, Courtney Love, Christina Aguilera, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie along with cousin Prince Harry, and is billed as a place of ‘mystique, mystery and sexual openness’.
17-year-old Amelia wore a see-through black blouse and mini-skirt while mentor Kelly opted for a loose grey wool top and black leggings accessorised with a beautiful statement necklace.
Talking about her X Factor style and image Kelly said: ‘Image plays a huge role to every performer. I think that it sets you apart from the next person.
‘I’ve been rocking so much Julian McDonald on the show, to performing in Cavalli, it gives you something extra when you perform.’
Taking on Tulisa’s style Kelly said: ‘If I could dress Tulisa, she already looks fantastic, I would probably put her in a dope pair of fitted leather pants because she has the cutest little bum and a really fly effortless shirt and a really cool, probably layered, look on top of that with a whole bunch of embellished jewellery.’
Adding that Gary Barlow: ‘gets it right every week, he really does. I don’t know all the depth and details of a suit but he makes one look really great.
‘I love clothes and to me it’s not about over thinking. It’s about trying something and seeing if it works.
‘So I never put myself in a box as far as style is concerned but I do like to keep it casual and sexy.’
