Katie Holmes is reportedly close to ending her acting career to become a lawyer

Katie Holmes may have one of the most famous (and flawless) faces in the world, but if recent rumours prove true she'll shun the celebrity lifestyle and her Hollywood career in favour of becoming a lawyer.

PICS! KATIE HOLMES’ FIRST BOBBI BROWN CAMPAIGN

According to the National Enquirer, Katie Holmes has tired of her work on the stage and silver screen and has enrolled at a law school.

A friend of the A-lister told the publication that Katie wants to be a better role model to her daughter, Suri, and she’s also keen to escape the media spotlight.

Since her split from Tom Cruise last year, all eyes have been on the star and how she’s coping in the aftermath.

If Katie does end up heading to university it’ll be her second stab at higher education. Before she found fame in Dawson’s Creek, she was accepted to study at New York’s Columbia University but deferred her place to appear in the show.

And if she needs help with her essays she can always ask her lawyer father, Martin, for help!
