  • We look back at Emma Stone's rise to stardom through her red carpet and off-duty outfits...

Emma Stone is one of the few actresses we all love to love.

Not only do we want to be her friend but she also has a pretty enviable wardrobe and life in general, with a number of major movies already on her impressive CV.

She’s not one to shy away from bright colours or statement evening dresses on the red carpet, plus her off-duty outfits are an inspiration to us all – we can all learn something from the way she pieces ensembles together.

Take 2015’s Cannes Film Festival as an example. Emma used the seriously chic French event to show off her sartorial style in a number of different ways.

At one photocall during the day, she revealed the flirty side to her personality in a short black design embellished with lace and ruffles. She teased her auburn hair into a neat updo and looked simply stunning as she posed before photographs.

While at the premiere of Irrational Man, she demonstrated her knowledge of trends by working a striking 90s-inspired look. Emma slipped on a white column dress which she accessorised with a silver choker. A pop of scarlet lipstick completed her chic throwback look.

As you flick through our gallery of her style transformation, it’ll quickly become clear that Emma loves to experiment with hemlines. She’s been seen in everything from thigh-skimming minis to full-length and fabulous evening gowns during her time in the spotlight.

She’s even been seen working a jumpsuit with a train. A brave choice for the glitzy Golden Golden Awards but something she totally pulled off, none the less.

Emma also appears to be a real fan of all things monochrome – we’ve seen her gracing the red carpet in a number of two-tone pieces over the years. Perhaps the most notable is the maxi she picked for the Museum Of Modern Art’s Fourth Annual Film Benefit back in 2011.

Decorated with a large corsage, Emma’s clingy dress featured a very eye-catching pattern and totally ticked numerous style boxes.

So join us as we look back at Emma Stone’s evolving fashion over the years…
