Pregnant Kate Middleton was spied browsing the rails at the high street store near her home
Kate Middleton continued her maternity shopping spree yesterday, indulging in a spot of retail therapy for new maternity clothes at none other than high street store Topshop.
According to fellow shoppers, the Duchess of Cambridge browsed the maternity rails at her local branch of the store, as she sought styles to suit her growing baby bump.
During her royal trip, the glowing princess-to-be – accompanied by two royal protection officers – was reportedly happy and smiley, much to the delight of fellow shoppers.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: ‘Oh Just an average day, Kate Middleton smiled at me! 🙂 oh best bit… This was in Topshop! Truly Beautiful :)’.
Another wrote: ‘So Kate Middleton was in Topshop today, knew it was her, browsing alongside me! What a champ!’
This is not the first time Kate has visited a high street store for her pregnancy needs and maternity clothes.
Last month, she was spied shopping for maternity clothes, including jeggings in gap, ahead of her return to royal work.
One onlooker told The Telegraph: ‘Everyone in the store seemed to recognise her, but they gave her space and privacy to shop.’
Royal officials have confirmed pregnant Kate will continue her schedule off official engagements next week, when she’ll visit the Lincolnshire seaside town of Grimsby.
The Duchess of Cambridge will make the solo visit on Tuesday, when she’ll look round the National Fishing Heritage Centre, before moving on to the Humberside Fire and Rescue Service and finally opening new comprehensive school Havelock Academy.
According to the Mirror, royal aides have been ‘working behind the scenes’ with Kate’s chosen charities, to make sure she can make as many visits as she able over the next few months.
