The Duchess of Cambridge and her brother-in-law watched on from afar as Prince William played in the match at Sandringham
With the formalities of Christmas finally over, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry dressed down for a countryside outing to watch Prince William take part in a charity football match.

They’re not usually known for their similar sense of style, but the Duchess of Cambridge and her brother-in-law had a matching moment as they stepped out at the Sandringham event, wearing identical green wellies.
The royal pair both opted for luxury French bootmaker Le Chameau’s £300 leather-lined Wellingtons for their outing, which saw them stomping around several muddy fields.
But that’s where their style similarities stopped.
Kate wrapped up warm in a £1,500 chocolate brown sheepskin coat from L.K. Bennett, teamed with a snuggly Temperley knit and chic suede coyboy hat.
Meanwhile, Harry braved the wintry weather in jeans and a zip up jumper.
Earlier in the week the pair were spied stepping out in rather more formal attire, as they joined the rest of the royal family at a traditional Christmas Day church service.
Kate chose a chic burgundy-coloured ensemble for the important event, and was spotting smiling and laughing with Prince William, before collecting flowers from well-wishers.
