Star magazine has felt the wrath of Demi Lovato after suggesting Kate Middleton is pregnant

Kate Middleton has earned herself a legion of celebrity fans since becoming a fully-fledged member of the royal family, but one showbiz star in particular has got the Duchess's back.

Demi Lovato, who is currently working alongside Simon Cowell and Britney Spears as a judge on the US X Factor, is enraged at a tabloid magazine's suggestion that the Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant.

Star magazine have splashed an image of Kate Middleton on their front cover with a photo of the Duchess wearing a dress that has had to be loosened to fit her.

Lovato used her Twitter account to let rip at the US publication, writing: 'So apparently Kate Middleton (William?) is pregnant because of THIS picture... Are you KIDDING ME?!!'

'And people wonder why girls/guys have body image issues.. Whether she is or not, she still has a beautiful body. Shame on you Star magazine.'

The article shows a close-up of Kate in a lace Alexander McQueen dress and suggests that she must be expecting her first baby because the sash on the frock has been let out by a couple of inches.
