Even Brad Pitt has fallen for the charms of Kate Middleton

The whole world seems to have fallen in love with Kate Middleton and Prince William - even Hollywood star Brad Pitt.

We had already heard the rumours that the Duchess of Cambridge had been invited to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's Olympic party this summer but now it's being reported that the actor has splashed out thousands on a portrait of William and Kate.

The stencil on canvas is a version of the famous photo taken of William and Kate on the day they announced their engagement and written over the image of the now Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are the words 'A bit like marmite.'

The Kate Middleton artwork was created by North London-based artist Bambi who, according to Artlyst, sold it to the Hollywood actor for a hefty price.

FIRST PICS OF ANGELINA JOLIE FILMING MALEFICENT

Pitt, who is currently living in the UK while Angelina Jolie films her latest movie Maleficent, has clearly developed a love of all British culture and the Royal Family - not just our beloved William and Kate - as it's also reported that he picked up an image of the Queen and the late Amy Winehouse from the same artist.

The three pieces of art, thought to have cost the actor a staggering £60,000, are due to be shipped to his LA home.
