The Duchess of Cambridge chose a burgundy wool skirt suit by French designer Paule Ka for the official engagement
Kate Middleton got back to work yesterday, stepping out to join Prince William for a visit to Middle Temple Treasury. And what did she wear for her first post-scandal outing? None other than a chic burgundy skirt suit by French designer Paule Ka.
The Duchess of Cambridge has been lying low since her return from her Jubilee tour of Singapore and the Far East with Prince William, during which topless pictures of her on holiday in France were leaked.
But it was time to step out into the limelight again yesterday, for an official engagement in London.
Prince William and Kate Middleton visited the Middle Temple Treasury – one of the four Inns of Court – to unveil a legal scholarship for disadvantaged students which has been set up in their name.
And for the occasion, Kate chose none other than an outfit of French design.
The Duchess wore an elegant burgundy flared skirt and matching jacket by French designer Paule Ka, just cosy enough for yesterday’s wet and windy conditions.
Kate paired the look with thick black tights and black suede heels, her glossy locks in their usual, styled to perfection mane.
Yesterday, it was reported Kate Middleton has been warned not to reveal anything personal to her entourage, following fears there may be a mole in the palace.
In the wake of the topless photo scandal and recent leaks to the press, it’s though royal officials are hunting out a source who is believed to be close to the Duchess of Cambridge and her husband, Prince William.
‘It’s been years since the Palace had to deal with a situation like this,’ one insider revealed.
‘But they are suspicious because some things have come out regarding Kate, Wills and Harry that very few people knew about.’
