Jessica Ennis scores a style hit as she reveals her plans for the Lord Mayor's Show
After a string of ultra-glam red carpet style hits, Jessica Ennis took things down a notch at a photocall in London yesterday.
The gold medallist looked totally fab as she beamed her trademark mega-watt smile at the launch of the new Jaguar F-TYPE.
Earlier in the week we saw Jessica working the red carpet in a stunning monochrome Stella McCartney dress, but yesterday the heptathlete ditched the designer togs for a tanned leather jacket with shearling collar, black jumper, skinny jeans and pumps. The look was finished off with dusty pink statement scarf.
This week, it was confirmed by Jessica's coach, Toni Minichiello, that the Olympian would be competing at the Commonwealth Games in 2014.
He told the Scottish Daily Record: 'Jessica will be at Glasgow 2014, definitely.
'That is absolutely the competition plan for us looking ahead. She has not won the Commonwealth title before.
'She was the bronze medallist in Melbourne in 2006 when still quite young and didn’t travel to Delhi two years ago.
'It will not be easy in Glasgow either. There are Canadians and Australians who can step up to the mark there so it will be good competition.
He added: 'It is tight in terms of the schedule around that time, with Glasgow 2014 coming about a fortnight before the European Championships, but we certainly intend to come to Scotland.
'In fact, I’ve already said to Jessica she should delay her retirement in order to take in the Commonwealth Games in 2018 – but perhaps that’s because I would quite like a trip to the Gold Coast in Australia.'
We can't wait to see Jessica Ennis back in action again.
