JLo's engagement ring is legit the most beautiful thing we've ever seen

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez got engaged this weekend, while on holiday in the Bahamas, just to be really romantic here.

The singer announced the happy news very simple on Instagram, with some heart emoji and a picture of his hand, holding hers, showing off the diamond ring.

And what. A. Ring. Emerald cut, set on what appears to be a simple platinum band. And it is huge, but just the right amount of huge (IMHO).

Naturally, the internet has already speculated on the cost, and it's believed to be around 15 carats and worth between $1 and $5 million dollars. No messing around here.

43-year-old Alex Rodriguez also shared the news on Instagram, writing, 'she said yes'. The pair have been dating for two years, and JLo recently said he made her 'feel like a teenager starting out all over again'.

We can't wait for the wedding.
