Jennifer Lawrence Stuns In Hunger Games Catching Fire Trailer

Jennifer Lawrence fuels our excitement for the next Hunger Games installment in the new trailer

Jennifer Lawrence has reappeared as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire trailer aired for the first time at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday evening and by the looks of things the film won’t disappoint.

Liam Hemsworth who plays Gale Hawthrone in the film franchise introduced the trailer that sees a brunette Jennifer Lawrence in a variety of guises including a feathered black dress with dramatic red shoulders and matching eye make-up.

Another scene shows the Oscar-winner in a less glamorous setting back in one of the districts this time her make-up is much more natural and her hair is worn in a simple plait but she, as always, looks flawless.

The trailer hints at the more dramatic turn of events for Katniss while Professor Snow plots to kill her along with other Hunger Games victors. The next installment will also see Kantiss and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) embark on a victory tour of the districts.

Other familiar faces returning to the screen next to Jennifer Lawrence include Elizabeth Banks and Woody Harrelson who play Effie Trinket and Haymitch Abernathy. New names to the casting list are Kristen Stewart’s former Snow White and the Huntsman co-star Sam Claflin, Jeffery Wright and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
