The 23-year-old is expecting a baby with husband Mike Comrie

It’s been a bumper weekend for baby news in Hollywood! Jessica Alba gave birth to baby Haven Garner Warren, Kate Hudson debuted two-month old Bingham Bellamy, and now actress Hilary Duff has confirmed she is expecting.

On the first anniversary of her wedding to 30-year-old hockey player Mike Comrie, the 'excited' 23-year-old actress shared the happy news on her website.

Adding some never-before-seen snaps of her beautiful nuptials, the thrilled starlet wrote: ‘This weekend, Mike and I are celebrating our one year anniversary! In memory of the special day, we decided to post some of our favorite pictures from our wedding!

‘I can't believe it has already been a year,' she continued. 'Time really flies when you're having fun! We also want to share the exciting news that BABY MAKES THREE!

‘We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives. Thanks to everyone for the continued love and support throughout the years!’

Hilary and Mike tied the knot in a candlelit evening ceremony on Saturday 14 August 2010. The private pair wed at the ultra-exclusive San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, where John F. Kennedy and his wife Jacqueline spent their honeymoon.

Onlookers said the glittering nuptials were a sight to behold, with the happy couple gazing lovingly into each others eyes as they took their vows.

'Mike held his arm around Hilary for most of the romantic, candlelit ceremony, and they both looked extremely happy,' one eyewitness told American magazine, People at the time.

'It was one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever seen,’ another onlooker added. ‘Absolutely stunning. They thought of every last detail and it was an incredible sight.'
