Gwyneth Paltrow called on some of her most A-list friends last night to join her for a party in London for her goop website.

The party hostess didn't disappoint with her latest fashion look, choosing a silk printed dress with sheer sleeves complete with an edgy black belt from Prabal Gurung's autumn/winter 2013 collection. The Iron Man actress teamed the frock with a pair of black multi-strap heels by Tom Ford and her signature straight blonde locks.

Star guests spotted at the party included close friend Kate Hudson, who channelled summer chic in an A.L.C. jumpsuit and a white blazer by Smythe, designers Tom Ford and Matthew Williamson, and TV host Davina McCall.

Despite trying to keep a low profile, Gwyneth's husband and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin was also pictured inside the Mark's Club party venue, although the couple continued with their no pictures policy and didn't pose together.

Guests sipped on vintage Veuve Clicquot champagne and were treated to an array of scrumptious foodie treats – think shrimp canapés, mini lobster rolls, mac and cheese with truffles, and key lime pie – the recipes of which were created by Gwyneth herself, who oversaw a team of chefs on the night. Multi-tasker or what?
