The pair looked more than a little cosy as they attended a Mayoral Proclamation in Celebration of the stylish show's 100th Episode

The Gossip Girls – and boys – hit NYC yesterday to attend a special Mayoral Proclamation in celebration of the stylish show's 100th Episode.

Blake Lively, Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick were among the attendees at the event, which saw New York mayor Michael Bloomberg present the famous cast with a prestigious proclamation.

Despite splitting more than a year ago, Blake & Penn were happy to cosy up for the cameras, sharing a chat and giggle as they waited for the event to commence.

And after the ceremony, the Mayor even took to Twitter to offer his congratulations, tweeting: 'Congratulations to @GossipGirl on your 100th episode! XOXO - MB #MadeInNY'.

Leading the Upper East Side pack was lovely Ms Lively wrapped up warm in a long-sleeved LBD and cosy black coat, while newcomer Kaylee Defer donned a glam gold dress.

Sadly it seemed Ed Westwick didn't get the dress code memo, arriving in jeans and a slouchy polo shirt. There's always one...

The show's special proclamation came as executive producer Joshua Safran slammed rumours the show is set to be axed, revealing it’ll definitely be going ahead for at least one more season.
