The Lady set flashbulbs alight in an interesting choice of attire...

Lady Gaga stole the show at the glittering Bambi awards in Germany last night, setting flashbulb’s alight on the red carpet in a bizarre golden gown, and picking up the International Pop Artis accolade.

While Gaga’s showcased some seriously strange looks in her time, we’ve never seen anything like last night’s McQueen ensemble before – a gilded and golden bodice, square padded waist and with frothy cream skirt and topped off with a glittering gold metal cap.

And if that wasn’t enough to get us talking, the Lady also swept home a prestigious International Pop Artist prize, presented to her designer Karl Lagerfeld.

Although Gaga's strange ensemble did look rather uncomfortable, it wasn’t on for long. Quick change and she took to the stage to perform in a billowing black number – at a piano shaped like a car.

The songstress wasn’t the only one to wow at the musical awards, held in Wiesbaden.

Gwyneth Paltrowwas a glittering vision in green Elie Saab, in a plunging full length gown as she took to the stage at the ceremony to present Justin Bieber with the Entertainment award.

The baby hitmaker – currently in the middle of his high-profile world tour - also stepped on stage to perform.
